Security Camera Installation in Sioux Falls
See everything. Pay nothing monthly.
We install brand-name UniFi Protect camera systems for homes and businesses across Sioux Falls, Harrisburg, Tea, Brandon and the surrounding area. Video records to a recorder on your property, not someone else's cloud, and you can pull up footage on your phone in seconds. No monitoring contract, no mystery hardware.
What a camera install includes
Six things a camera job should get right, and often doesn't.
Cameras placed where they matter
We walk the site first to plan coverage: doors, driveway, garage and yard, or entrances, registers and loading areas for a business. Each camera is angled to actually catch a face or a plate.
Doorbell camera
See and talk to whoever's at the door from your phone, and catch every package drop-off, on the same system as the rest of your cameras.
Local recording, no cloud fees
Footage records to a UniFi recorder (NVR) on your property, keeping days or weeks of history you can scroll back through any time, with no monthly bill.
Phone alerts that make sense
Alerts tell people, vehicles and packages apart, so a buzz on your phone is worth checking. We set up the app on everyone's phones before we leave.
One cable per camera
Power over Ethernet carries power and data on a single cable, so there are no batteries to swap. Runs go through attics and walls, with no wires dangling down your siding.
A network built to keep them safe
Cameras go on their own isolated network, so they do their job without becoming a back door into the rest of your devices.
No subscription. No monitoring contract.
A lot of camera systems are sold alongside a monthly monitoring plan. We don't sell monitoring. You own the equipment and the footage, and there's no monthly bill for the cameras to keep recording.
Homes and businesses
We also run the network the cameras sit on, so the whole system is one install with one point of contact.
For homes
Doorbell, driveway and backyard coverage, plus the garage and side doors, with alerts on the whole family's phones.
For small businesses
Entrances, registers, inventory areas and parking lots, with remote access for owners and managers.
The label rarely says who's really inside.
Many budget cameras are rebranded hardware from manufacturers the U.S. government has barred from new FCC approvals. Every camera carries an FCC ID that shows who actually built it, and it's often a different company than the name on the box.
We install UniFi Protect cameras: NDAA-compliant, from a brand-name manufacturer, kept current with regular firmware updates. You know exactly what's watching your home.
Not sure what you already have? Text us a photo of the label on your camera or recorder. We'll tell you who actually made it, no charge, no pressure.

A retrofit on an existing Sioux Falls-area home, with cameras covering the front porch, back deck, garage and eaves. We ran the cable through the attic and down to the recorder in the basement.

Camera installation FAQ
How much does a camera system cost?
A four-camera 2K system with five days of recorded footage starts at $1,899 installed. From there it depends on camera count and cable runs, and older homes or harder runs cost more. We text you one flat price after a walk-through or a few photos, and bill when the job is done.
Do I need monthly monitoring or a subscription?
No. Footage records locally on equipment you own, so there's no monthly cloud fee just to watch your own footage.
Can I view cameras on my phone?
Yes. We set up the app on your phones before we leave and show you how to scroll back and share a clip.
What happens if my internet goes down?
The cameras keep recording locally the whole time. You just can't watch remotely until the internet comes back, and then all of it is still there waiting for you.
How long is video kept?
It depends on how many cameras you have and how much storage we put in the recorder. We size it with you up front so you get the days or weeks of history you actually want.
Can you replace an old system and reuse the wiring?
Often, yes. If your existing cameras run on Ethernet, we can usually reuse those cable runs and just swap out the cameras and recorder, which keeps the job faster and cleaner.
Are these cameras NDAA-compliant?
Yes. The UniFi Protect cameras we install are NDAA-compliant, from a brand-name manufacturer, and kept up to date with regular firmware. If you're unsure about cameras you already own, text us a photo of the label and we'll tell you who made them.
